Our product/service score is based on the obtained value for the paid price.

In-Depth Explanation

For an easy explanation, let's combine "products/services" in one word and call them just "product" or "products".

Theoretical Explanation:

Step 1: Feature Points (Obtained Value)


If the feature doesn't exist = 0pt.


If the feature exist, check its Quality (How good is the quality of the feature):


Relevance (How important is the feature to the targeted audience):


(Taking into account the quantity of each feature)

Feature Points = Feature Quality Points x Feature Relevance Points


Step 2: Score Calculation

Determine the Reference Feature Points and the Reference Price:

RFP: The reference feature points: Are the points of the product that has the highest feature points compared to the rest of the compared products.

RP: The reference price: Is the price of the product that has the lowest price compared to the rest of the compared products.

Feature points calculation:

AFP: Actual Feature Points.

CFP: Calculated Feature Points.

(AFP / RFP) x 100 = CFP (in %)

Price points calculation:

AP: Actual Price.

CP: Calculated Price.

(AP / RP) x 100 = CP (in %)

Price points correction - When it is higher than the reference price:

AA: Anything above 100%.

CPP: Corrected Price Points.

AA x 2 = AA2

CP - AA2 = CPP (in %)

Score:

OC: Overall Calculation.

NFP: Non-fulfilled promises after purchase. Defected product / Some defected parts / Buggy updates / Bad customer support / ...

Score: How much the price relate to all the features and their quality and relevance taking into account if there are any non-fulfilled promises.

(CFP + CPP) / 2 = OC (in %)

OC / 10 = OC2 (in /10Pts)

OC2 - NFP = Score (in /10Pts)

Star-rating guide:
4.6 => 5.0 = 5.0

4.1 => 4.5 = 4.5

3.6 => 4.0 = 4.0

3.1 => 3.5 = 3.5
2.6 => 3.0 = 3.0
2.1 => 2.5 = 2.5
1.6 => 2.0 = 2.0
